"What lies behind us and what lies before us
Are tiny matters compared to what lies within us."
- OLIVER WENDELL HOLMES
Research has shown that each thought has a measurable frequency. These thoughts have a certain level of vibration that ranges from very low (sadness) to very high (joy). Learning to become aware of your thoughts and how they make you feel is the first step .Learning to gently guide your thoughts through uplifting prayer, a sense of gratitude or by positive affirmations of intention can help you move out of negative, low energy patterns. These low energy patterns can keep you feeling depressed, stressed, hopeless and ill. It is everyone’s core desire, either conscious or unconscious to be healthy and happy. Studies suggest that there is a link between a positive outlook and health outcomes. And while this may not mean that you will necessarily be cured, it does mean that you have the opportunity to be healed.
Ask for what you desire. Create a space that feels relaxing to you. Add comforts such as soft pillows, blankets etc.. Turn off all unnecessary electronic devices. Come into the sound and feel of your breath. LEARN TO BECOME STILL. Clear your mind so as to make space for your positive intention of healing. Recall the words written at the heart center inside your shirt. Place your hand at your heart center. Visualize the words. Speak the words out loud or to yourself. Do this often, especially before rest and bedtime. Focus on compassion and in making a meaningful connection. Bring in as much “feeling” as you can to the words. What does your intention look like? What would it feel like? BE VERY CLEAR AND CONCISE. Visualize in vivid detail your intention as established fact. It is important that you have a positive feeling as you do this. Let go of thoughts of doubt, worry, or fear. This is a healing space and these thoughts are not welcome here.
